We offer our guests a very personal guiding service around the treasures of Golden Bay. Each of our custom made tours illustrate another aspect of our special environment and will be reminded as a wonderful nature experience. Over the years we discovered lots of unique photo & observation locations that are now available to suit your special interests and fitness level.
Our Wildlife & Nature Tours are exclusively designed for our Lodge guests and are accompanied by Filip, a professional nature photographer and experienced New Zealand tour guide. During the tours you can touch the treasures of our exceptional forests and sniff the ‘Pure New Zealand’ sensation of our golden beaches. We will highlight the connections between history and culture, birdlife and flora. Picnic lunch, snack and afternoon tea are included & provided from the Lodge. We allow plenty of time to walk, relax and explore at leisure.
The Farewell Spit 4x4 tour is organised in cooperation with a local tour operator. All tours require prior booking.
