Guided Sea Kayaking Tour

Smell the fresh sea air, feel the breeze on your face and the sand between your toes… On this tour you will discover the famous Abel Tasman National Park by kayaking in the crystal clear waters of the Tasman Sea. You will paddle in the most remote northern part of the National Park between bird colony islands and along wonderful golden beaches. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Wildlife spotters will surely enjoy this sea kayak tour paddling around beautiful limestone islands, home to the biggest shag colony in New Zealand. Close interaction with these seabirds, or even a dolphin or fur seal will be one of the many highlights on this guided tour.

Granite archways invite you through them as you make your way around to a mussel farm and stunning Wainui Bay.

Your experienced outdoor adventure guide will fill you in on local tales and history, and also treat you to a delicious morning tea with homemade delicacies.

The two-person sea kayaks are family designed and manufactured, guaranteeing a comfortable and safe adventure. If at any time the paddling is getting a little tiring, know that a relaxing hot spa is waiting for you back at the Lodge…
