Our meals We embrace sustainability. Organically sourced foods or those fresh from our garden are our preference for the breakfasts we provide. For those who want a tremendous start, our seaside gourmet breakfast is just what you are looking for… It is a true tasting sensation with organic bread and cake, fresh brewed coffee or tea, home made smoothies, local produces, cereals, fresh fruit, European flavours and home surprises… A breakfast hamper is another option. It contains all the goodies for a perfect start of the day: toasts with a wide selection of spreads, juice, milk, cereals and muesli, yoghurt and fruit. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always on hand. But if one day you want to escape from all these tasty temptations, you’re more than welcome to prepare your own breakfast in the privacy of your Suite. Barbecue & Dinner After a pleasant chat and a welcoming drink, we like to invite you for a delicious dinner with us. A personal way to share our interests with you and to introduce the unique environment of Golden Bay. We serve our dinners in the guest lounge of our Lodge so you can fully enjoy our panoramic views over Golden Bay. There are two delicious dinner options to choose from: On warm summer evenings our Kiwi Style Barbecue is a great favourite after a full day of adventure in the Bay. This barbecue arrangement includes: starter, barbecue meal, glass of wine, dessert, coffee & tea. Price: NZ$ 60 pp. You can also join us on one of our candlelight dinners where we offer a European style fondue or stone grill with a nice variety of meat courses, accompanied by home made salads and sauces. This dinner option includes: starter, fondue or stone grill, glass of wine, dessert, coffee & tea. Price: NZ$ 55 pp. A sweet surprise or a local liqueur are our way of saying goodbye to the day and welcoming a peaceful sleep… Important As we like to use fresh and organic ingredients for our meals we require that you make the reservation for your meals at least three days in advance. Our catering service is available from 25.12 to 15.03 and on special request also in the spring and autumn season. |
