Our Policies

Payment Policy

Mastercard, Visa, cash and bank deposits are accepted. Credit card details are required for payment and cancellation policy guarantee only. No deduction will be made from your credit card prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us greatly.
We will try our best, however in the event that we are unable to replace your cancelled booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

– No charge for cancellations up to 30 days to reservation date.
– Cancellation within 30 days of arrival: a cancellation penalty of one nights accommodation.
– Cancellation within 7 days of arrival: a 30% cancellation penalty for all nights booked.
– Cancellation within 1 day of arrival: cancellation charges will be 100% of the booking.

Arrival and Departure Times

Our regular check-in time is between 3.00 and 6.00pm. Our normal check-out time is 10.00 am. If you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the times mentioned, please contact us in advance.

Child Policy

We intend our guests to enjoy rest and relaxation while staying in the peaceful haven that is The Bay Lodge. For these reasons we can’t accommodate children under the age of 13 years.

Non-Smoking Policy

The well-being and comfort of all our guests is important to us. Therefor the Lodge is a non-smoking environment. If you like to smoke, we suggest that you do this outside on your deck (ash tray outside) and in full respect with our environment and the other Lodge guests. We ask you to close the sliding doors to avoid smoke odor lingering inside the room and on furniture.

Noise limitation

In respect to our other Lodge guests and neighbors, we would like to ask you to keep the sound level of your music and television to a minimum and to close your sliding doors while you enjoy some entertainment. In this way we can guarantee all our guests a fantastic stay.

Dirty footwear

We like to keep our Lodge to the highest standard. Therefor we appreciate it very much if you take off all dirty, wet or sandy footwear before entering our Suites. You can use our outdoor shower at the swimming pool or the water tap at our parking area to wash off sand or dirt.

Damages & malfunctions

Guests are liable for any damage made to the property or the furnishing. We don’t tolerate any bad behavior, disorder or noise pollution due to alcohol or drugs use and reserve the right to evict any guest or visitor. We’ll recover the costs of any damage or reparation by decreasing your credit card. If you determine any malfunction or cause any damage to our property, it is your obligation to report this.
